Samsung Nori F2 hits South Korea. The Samsung Nori F2 comes with flip form factor. This phone has a 3-inch display, 3MP camera to capture your special moments, a microSD card slot (up to 16GB), T-DMB, Bluetooth to communicate with another phone, and SOS feature. This phone will be distributed in South Korean market via KT, SKT, and LG U+. You will be able to buy Samsung Nori F2 Flip Phone for 300,000 won or about $277 in White, Charcoal Grey, and Pink color options.

Samsung Galaxy Neo SHW-M220L

Samsung Galaxy Neo SHW-M220L Smartphone is likely a Korean version of the Samsung Galaxy S II Mini smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy Neo SHW-M220L comes with a 3.5-inch touchscreen TFT display with resolution of 480 x 800 pixel (WVGA). This smartphone is powered by an 800MHz processor, 4GB of internal memory. It also has 3MP camera, GPS, Wi-Fi, T-DMB, 3.5mm headset jack, and a 1500mAh battery. It is running on Android 2.2 Froyo OS. Measuring 115.9 x 56.9 x 12.14 mm and weight 121.8 grams. Samsung Galaxy Neo SHW-M220L Smartphone is available in two flavor colors – Chic White (CW) and Noble Black (LK). No word on pricing yet.

Motorola Droid X Running Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread Video

Well apparently Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread has finally made its way to the Motorola Droid X albeit not via an official route, as apparently an official build of the operating system has been leaked to both the Motorola Droid X and the Motorola Droid 2.
And the guys over at Android Central have come up with a video of Android Gingerbread playing on the Motorola Droid X, which of course we have for your viewing pleasure below that delivers almost five minutes of seeing what Android Gingerbread looks like on the Droid X.
With the leaked Android Gingerbread the Droid X gains a proper dock which houses 3 customisable icons and there’s also an improved app drawer enabling the user to group icons within the drawer which excludes all VCast gear on the handset.

HTC EVO 3D Unlocked Up For Pre-order Already

Well now, for those that are of a mind to snap up the new HTC EVO 3D smartphone once it comes out to play it would appear that if you wish to have the Android 2.3 Gingerbread handset as an unlocked version you can pre-order the device already.
According to an article over on Pocket Now, etailer MobileCity Online have placed the unlocked HTC EVO 3D up for pre-order carrying a price tag of some $699.99 without contract or activation.
The etailer lists the specs of the HTC EVO 3D as GSM 850/900/1800/1900, HSDPA 900/1900/2100, 4.3-inch 3D S-LCD touch screen, 5 megapixel camera, 1.3 megapixel secondary camera, GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, Android 2.3 OS, and microSD expansion up to 32GB.
Apparently when you pre-order the HTC EVO 3D from the etailer you’ll get free shipping when the device becomes available although the device will not carry any warranty in the US.
So are any of the Android faithful tempted to pre-order the HTC EVO 3D unlocked for 700 bucks, or would you rather wait for a carrier version to go up for pre-order?

iPhone 5 Not at WWDC, Early Next Year Release

Well now we’ve just posted word that Apple has now gone all official with the dates for their Worldwide Developer Conference in San Francisco, when most are expecting the unveiling of the next generation iPhone, the iPhone 5.
However according to an article over on 9to5 Mac, Jim Dalrymple of The Loop is reporting that no Apple hardware will be unveiled during this years WWDC so that means no new Apple iPads, Macs or iPhones, including the iPhone 5.
As reported, WWDC 2011 will concentrate on iOS and Mac OS so it looks like Apple is breaking with their usual pattern for launching new iPhone handsets.
This seems to be further confirmed by Japanese website Macotakara who reports that production of the iPhone 5 will not go into mass production until later this year and intimates an early 2012 launch for the iPhone 5.
Of course Apple did release the Verizon iPhone not too long ago, and there’s rumour that the white iPhone 4 is coming sometime in spring, so perhaps Apple has decided that June is not the right time to release the 5th generation handset.

Nokia N8 Captain America The First Avenger Download: Images

Now we have some great news for those of you out there in possession of a Nokia N8, and who have a liking for Captain America (the Marvel comic book hero), you can now download the trailer for Captain America The First Avenger on to your device for free.
Captain America The First Avenger could be a big hit when the movie hits the big screen in summer and should pave the way for The Avengers Movie, which includes the characters: Iron Man, Hulk & Thor.
The Film is directed by Joe Johnston (who brought us the Wolfman last year) and has a quite impressive cast list, which includes Chris Evans, Tommy Lee Jones and Hugo Weaving.
As explained by Mikey Bee of Nok Nok the film takes us back to the humble beginnings of Captain America to his subsequent saviour of the world. Mikey also goes on to state “…from the trailer we’ve downloaded on our Nokia N8 it looks like it has all the elements to make a great story for Captain America fans and newbies alike”.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Play Unboxed on Video

Well folks for those who are of a mind to snap up the first PlayStation phone, namely the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, we have an unboxing video of the gaming centric smartphone for your viewing consideration below.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is dutifully unwrapped by the guys over at Phone Arena and just happens to be a white Xperia Play, which I believe is exclusive to O2 in the UK once it becomes available although currently the release has been postponed by O2.
The guys say that slide out game pad on the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is smooth with a relatively quiet click, and they remove the back plate to check out the battery, which is1500mAh and of course go through all the usual associated with an unboxing.
Earlier we posted a review video of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, which doesn’t plaint that good a picture of the handset so you may wish to check that out as well by hitting up (here).

HTC Droid Incredible Heads for Mobile Bin Making Way for Successor

Shed a small tear Droid faithful for the HTC Droid Incredible smartphone has apparently reached its end of life and id now destined for the mobile bin, the same way all smartphones must go eventually, but the Droid Incredible has had a descent run.
According to an article over on Android Central, the old Android HTC Droid Incredible has now been removed from the Verizon website while retail stores push out the remainder of their stock.
When the HTC Droid Incredible first became available almost a year ago, the device garnered much of the mobile space coverage and quickly sold out, but as they say, nothing lasts for ever and the time has come to say goodbye to the incredible, Incredible.
It’s not all bad news for Droid Incredible fans though as Verizon consigning the Droid Incredible to the mobile grave could be seen as a sign that its successor the HTC Droid Incredible 2 maybe coming out to play of US shores quite soon, although as yet there’s no word on exact release date.
So as you wave bye to the Droid Incredible will you be hoping to snap up the HTC Droid Incredible 2 if or when it hits the streets?

HTC Thunderbolt Battles Inspire 4G In Comparison Videos

So how about a battle of the Android 4G giants whereby the HTC Thunderbolt 4G goes face to face in a comparison battle against the HTC Inspire 4G? Good because that’s exactly what we have for your viewing pleasure.
Aaron Baker over at Phone Dog has done the deed in pitting these two Android 2.2 Froyo 4G enabled smartphones against each other in a two-part video, so basically also pitting a Verizon 4G handset against an AT&T 4G handset, so an added bonus.
Spec wise there isn’t much difference between the two Android devices with the exception of the HTC Thunderbolt sporting a front facing camera while the HTC Inspire doesn’t, and of course the Thunderbolt has that built-in kickstand, but the Thunderbolt costs $249.99 on Verizon while the Inspire 4G costs $99.99 on AT&T.
So will these two Froyo 4G smartphones come out equal, can the HTC Inspire 4G take down the HTC Thunderbolt, will there be a clear winner in the Thunderbolt versus Inspire face off? iPhone to Gain BlackBerry Messenger App Late April

Earlier this month there was a rumour doing the rounds that Research In Motion was contemplating opening up their BlackBerry Messenger app to be used on both the Android platform and the iOS platform, and the word now is BlackBerry Messenger is coming to the iPhone.
According to an article over on 9to5 Mac and by way of TUAW, a member of Macrumors forums has posted when BlackBerry Messenger will become available to the iconic iOS smartphone…
” RIM had a Social Media conference today in Toronto, and my entire college business and marketing class was invited to the event. RIM’s co-ceo Jim Balsillie revealed that they plan to bring BBM and “other services” to iPhone on April 26 via the app store. Major news networks are expected to pick up on this very soon! Balsillie also revealed that they plan to release an update to the app this summer which will take advantage of a new “notification system”!!!
Thus if true it would appear that BlackBerry Messenger will become available on iTunes as of the 26th of April, although as with the Android BlackBerry Messenger app which should hit before the iOS version, both will not be as full featured as the RIM original.
So with RIM enabling BlackBerry Messenger for both Android and iOS, and with the BlackBerry Playbook playing nice with Android apps, one wonders if we’ll ever see iOS apps being made by Apple to play on Android and BlackBerry.

Verizon Android Smartphone Release Dates Roadmap Outed

So how about finding out just what Verizon Wireless has in store for the Android faithful? Would you like to know when Verizon will release certain Android smartphones to the public? Well if the info we have here holds true you’re going to find out.
According to an article over on Phone Dog the guys over at Phonedroid have been tipped off about Verizon’s spring release roadmap giving all the juicy low down of when the Big Red expects to release several Android devices to the public.
So here’s what’s on offer according to the outed roadmap…the Samsung Droid Charge will release on the 7th April along with the Casio Commando, on the 14th April Verizon will release the first PlayStation phone, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, followed by the Windows Phone 7 handset the HTC Trophy on the 15th.
On the 28th of April we should see the HTC Droid Incredible 2, while jumping into May on the 5th is the LG Revolution. Other devices scheduled for release in May include the Motorola Droid Bionic, Motorola Droid X2 and Samsung Galaxy S 2 although no exact dates for those have been revealed.
Looks like a sweet couple of months ahead for Android on Verizon Wireless, as long as of course the devices don’t see any delays, and of course all are subject to change…are you excited?

TAG Heuer announced its new limited edition smartphone. The TAG Heuer Gulf Meridiist Limited Edition Smartphone is teamed with Gulf Oil Company. It comes with a 1.9-inch display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels, secure durable sapphire crystal. This smartphone also has a small OLED-screen on the top of handset, a 2-megapixel camera to capture your important moments, 2GB of memory, Bluetooth and USB port to communicate with another portable devices. It has a black body finishes with PVD surface treatment that provides a scratch-less silhouette. This phone works in GSM cellular networks. Unfortunately no word on pricing yet for TAG Heuer Gulf Meridiist Limited Edition Smartphone.

HTC HD7 on Windows Phone 7 OS

This is the HTC HD7, and it is virtually identical to the HD2. However, it does have one thing HD2 doesn’t have, and that is WP7.

Yes, this is Windows Phone 7 day, and apparently, it is one of 10 WP7 phones Microsoft will have out which include the Samsung Focus, HTC Surround, and the LG Quantum.

As far as the features, it has a 4.3-inch WVGA (800 x 480) TFT screen, 1GHz Qualcomm, MSM8250 on-chip, 576MB of RAM, 5 Megapixel camera with dual-LED flash. It also has 720/24p video recording, an added bonus.

Samsung Galaxy K

There has been rumored that Samsung will delay its Galaxy K for another month, but with the launch of Windows phone 7, Samsung decided that it was time to unleash its latest Android 2.2 Smartphone, strange however that the manufacturer decided to launch its new phone the same day as Microsoft announcement of its long overdue Windows Mobile replacement.
The Galaxy K, also known as SHW-M130K in Korea, comes with a 3.7” AMOLED screen, a 1GHz CPU Adobe Flash, Wi-Fi, 3G Tethering, T-DMB TV, 512MB of RAM, a 5Mpix Camera module, A-GPS, FM Radio, MicroSDHC and 8GB of internal memory.
The Galaxy K is available from today onward in Korea in black and white at around 800,000 Won (510€ or $710 USD).

Apple Dates WWDC 2011 for June 6 – iPhone 5 Incoming?

Apple is one of the most popular tech companies in the game today, Just about every single one of their products that hits the market is highly anticipated and manages to sell like hot cakes not long after getting released. The iPhone, in particular, is one of the company’s most popular products and one of the most smartphones in general. Currently, the iPhone 4 is the most recent iteration of the device but with the summer quickly approaching many are wondering when Apple will announce the next generation.

Well, it’s not set in stone that Apple will announce the iPhone 5 during this even but it was just made known that WWDC 2011′s starting date has been finalized as being June 6th. Like I said, it’s not confirmed that we’ll see the iPhone 5 at this even but we have seen new iPhone announcements at previous WWDC events so the chances are pretty high.
